Video chatting at higher resolutions
Our webcams combine a real 1.3 Mega Pixel sensor with interpolation technology. Interpolated resolutions deliver a far greater picture compared to optical resolutions.
Snapshot resolutions are possible up to 6 Mega Pixels (SPC1300). For video it's up to 2 Mega Pixels (SPC1300 and SPC1000).

Flicker free
Most webcams have difficulties with (fast) motion. The eyes of the person who is looking at you can detect movements step by step rather than in a smooth fashion.
Digital Natural Motion - or DNM in short - is a patented Philips technology that solves this by calculating and making an additional frame, which is inserted between each of the originals. The outcome is a perfectly smooth and completely flicker free moving picture.
Works even in darkness
Philips even has a special webcam that works perfectly in darkness, the SPC900. This web camera has an ultra-sensitive CCD sensor. Thanks to this, you don't have to over light your room anymore at night in order to be visible. Keep the lights dimmed and enjoy your video chat!
